Symposium a roaring success!

Our two-day symposium, 'Litigating Women: Negotiating Justice in Courts of Law, c. 1100-1750' (June 28-9) went off almost without a hitch.* A wonderful group of scholars, new and experienced, delivered a terrific range of high-quality novel papers and keynote addresses about aspects of women's litigating in medieval and early modern Europe. Teresa Phipps (who also gave a paper) has written a blog post about the event here.
